4X4 vehicle stuck on Southport Beach

A 4X4 vehicle became stuck in mud on Southport Beach this evening (Sunday 26 March 2017).

The incident happened about 500 yards out to sea off Weld Road, Birkdale.

The driver remains on scene waiting for a recovery vehicle to pull the 4×4 free.
