The emergency services were called to Roe Lane following a report of a three car collision shortly after 2.15pm, Thursday February 4 2016.
Paramedics arrived within minutes, followed by police who arrived a short time later. Police left the scene to attend another incident whilst paramedics treated the injured.
The injured persons involved were transfered to Southport Hospital.
